On Friday 2 June 2023 at Orange Head quarter office Hill Station Freetown,
Orange Sierra Leone engaged the Media in their activities, especially the orange
Money cash in cash out and Business to Business (BtoB) and B2C.
Bollor T Sesay Deputy Chief commercial director- B2C gave some of the media
roles to the success of Orange Sierra Leone as a Business. In his statement, he
began by thanking Almighty God Almighty for granting him the health to be on
this program and he thanked everyone for being on the program who swapped their
busy schedules to be on this occasion. He extols the value of the media
practically place on Orange as an entity.
Mr Bollore further explained that said that media landscape in Sierra Leone
has undergone tremendous changes over the past few decades. The emergence of
new technologies has opened up opportunities for more diverse and vibrant
media. For Orange Sierra Leone he said, the media plays a vital role in
building brand awareness, connecting with customers, and achieving business
goals.
Mr Bollore T Sesay firstly says the media is crucial for promoting Orange’s
products and services to the public. Orange relies on various media channels
such as television, radio, print, and online platforms to advertise its product
& services, This media exposure helps inform potential customers about what
Orange has to offer.
Secondly, the media helps Orange engage directly with existing customers and
address any issues they may have. Customers can reach out to Orange through
social media platforms like Facebook and Twitter. The company also uses its
website and customer service hotlines to interact with customers and resolve
their queries in a timely manner. Through the media, Orange can monitor
customer sentiment and gauge product satisfaction.
Thirdly, the media serves as a platform for Orange to promote its brand
values and corporate social responsibility initiatives. Orange often partners
with media companies to raise awareness of social causes that it supports, such
as financial inclusion, women’s empowerment, and youth development. This
positive publicity through the media helps strengthen Orange’s reputation and
brand image in the eyes of the public.
Last Mr Bollore said that the media plays an integral role in Orange Sierra
Leone’s business by enabling marketing and advertising, facilitating customer
service, and boosting the company’s image and credibility. A well-thought-out
media strategy will be crucial for Orange to achieve its business and social
goals in Sierra Leone for years to come. And the company will continue to
leverage different media channels creatively and effectively to stay relevant
and connected with customers.

played a great role in the Media, especially by giving them adverts and also he
said that the Media will always give their support to Orange Sierra Leone when
it came to Coverage and advertising.
